Documented life Amsterdam paints

I’m still creating!

Yes, I still need to spend time creating. It’s my therapy. I know that I don’t produce great art or couture level clothes, but time spent playing with fabric and paint makes me happy. I have been doing more of the playing with paint lately, which is ok. When the mood takes me, I will start sewing again. I am taking a little trip to London at the end of the month, so I’ll have to visit Libertys and Goldhawk Road, and probably add to my mountan of fabrics.

So what have I been doing? Inspired by https://lorraine-bell.squarespace.com/home/2015/3/13/borderline for  documented life, I had a go at copying her instructions. I really like the colour combination, it’s not one I would normally think of.

I put the umber paint on so thick, I drew swirls in it, then printed it on the opposite page.

Initial attempt at the Rose shapes. I have started a collection of art journalling done on the back of postcards, so did one at the same time.
Some doodling. I need to get used to doing more doodling, it looks so good on other people’s work.

This is what I have done so far on the other page, some finger painted copper coloured circles.  I think some pinks might look good with this.

I’m going to try and note what I have used as I am trying to use what I already have and not just buy more!
This was mainly Amsterdam paints, the green is goldens green gold, the white pen is a signo one.
